The direct hire union division of Matrix Service Company, Matrix NAC enjoys a long-standing reputation for integrating and leading a host of service offerings that include: construction, maintenance, turnarounds/outages, tank build & repair,and emergency repair services to the refining, oil, gas & chemical, power generation, storage solutions, and industrial markets across North America since 1986. Our Norco, CA office is proud to serve California, Oregon, Washington, the Rocky Mountain Region, and beyond.
Since the passing of SB54 in 2017, Matrix NAC established two offices in California to provide union construction services to the refining sector. Matrix is currently providing maintenance, turnaround, and tank construction services in both Northern & Southern California. Matrix holds a California ‘A’ license as well as a number of local licenses throughout California.
Matrix NAC’s experience in California dates back to 2001 with the construction of two gas-fired power plants. In the mid-late 2000s, new power plant construction projects in California began to slow. During that time, Matrix NAC secured several large power generation and environmental projects in other parts of the US & Canada and its focus turned to the US East & Midwest.
Matrix NAC’s strength is found in our long and successful track record in the power, electrical, oil, gas, and chemical, storage solutions, and industrial sectors, built on our deep understanding of the industry needs. This is in large part to the close, collaborative partnerships we build with our customers. Our focus and flexibility give us the mindset to deliver solid project results through an uncompromising focus on safety, integrity, and a comprehensive in-house project delivery skillset and the flexibility to work within the client’s and industry’s best practices.
