Ontario Power Generation – MSA Nanticoke 4,000 MW Power Plant

Matrix NAC contracted for a single source construction service agreement for all maintenance and capital projects under an EPSCA agreement from 2005 through 2012 at the OPG Nanticoke G.S. coal-fired power plant.

The EPSCA agreement was assessed under a structured performance scorecard on attributes consisting of safety, environment & quality performance, scope control, schedule adherence, interface effectiveness, budget adherence, contingency plan effectiveness, management, and sub-contractor management.

Examples of projects include: various capital projects, regular outage work including major boiler repairs (units 1-8), condenser retube (12,522 tubes), high-energy piping and feedwater system repairs, precipitator upgrade (unit 6), etc.
